From the Skies to the Streets of Lucknow The Story of Vijay Shukla — Pilot. Entrepreneur. Food Visionary.
Before he was a restaurateur, Vijay Shukla was a commercial pilot. For years, aviation defined his life — precision, discipline, and global travel. But no matter where he flew, one thing always pulled him back: the taste of home.
In 2015, he made a bold decision. He left the cockpit, returned to Lucknow, and threw himself into the food industry — starting with franchises for Mad About China and Madras Mail. That foundation gave him the experience, the confidence, and the hunger to build something of his own.
That something was Twisted — launched at Fun Republic Mall in 2015, bringing bold Chinese and Continental flavours to Lucknow's dining scene. Through the challenges of the pandemic, Vijay adapted, evolved, and never stopped. In 2024, Twisted made a triumphant return to Fun Republic Mall, proving that great flavours never go out of style.
Building on that momentum, January 2026 saw the birth of Dosa Dynasty — a brand dedicated to the art of authentic South Indian cuisine, from crispy golden dosas to pillowy soft idlis, made fresh every day.
